First Game

The girls are in their first year of coach pitch. It has been very interesting watching them because they are still so much smaller than most of the other players. The first two games they struck out every time. We have spent every day working with them on their hitting. We have offered bribery or incentives. They spent the weekend with their Con and she worked them over pretty good. I am happy to report that the third game was the charm because they both went two for three. It was an awsome feeling. Cayley was tagged out on her second hit, but she didn't care because she had gotten to run the bases twice. This is definitely one of those firsts we will remember. Steven and were truly proud because when they took the field after hitting we had our phones out texting our family and good friends. That night we ordered pizza and made good on the incentives with a trip to walmart. We are now proud owners of two cellphone walkie talkies. The girls spent the evening talking to each other from different rooms.
